Dear friends:

 Recently I was in Valencia I had an hour left before going back to Sevilla to see a long desired sight in Valencia: the Swiss sailing base of Alinghi of the 32nd America’s cup. This is one of the most traditional sailing events of today’s world with a longstanding history of 150 years of excellence, power and traditions.

Not mainly because the team is Swiss based (although the team is very international), but my affection for this dynamic sport made me follow this event in 2007 closely with friends of Sailcom, my sailing club. Let us see now how they fare in 2010, where they will compoete with catamarans.

Dear friends:

We are now back in Seville for almost 3 weeks, but the start was quite intensive on all kind of issues: familiy, job, new club activities, visit of friends on some weekends! Therefore after getting back into daily life it has now taken some time to re-start our blog-activities: but here we are with a lot of fresh energies!

Our summer holiday we mainly spent in Switzerland where we had a lot of quality time with familiy (we had the hospitality of Aenny and Alex’s home) and close friends. Well, you know us: we are always a litte bit moving around and therefore we did a lot of excursions and spent twice four days out of Zurich: first some days with Fernando and Maxi in the mountains (Leukerbad - www.leukerbad.ch) and then with the famous Grob-familiy in Lucerne (www.lucerne.ch). Please find enclosed of these two trips some photos in the photo gallery.

Well, it was a great time for us and all these conversations about the current status of life of friends and familiy are important to really keep track with everybody’s life.

When we came back, we still faced the famous summer heat of Sevilla, but thanks to swimming pool, air con and changed habits (a lot of cold beer ) we have passed now the hottest period of this year. So, autumn here wer are - ready for the next adventures!
