Dear friends,
Last Saturday we decided to go for a relaxed Saturday morning walk to downtown Sevilla. Well, it was that relaxed as we went to different shops, which we wanted to visit already for quite a while, but thanks to a ‘energy break’ with churros and chocolate we recovered our energy level to visit further more a local market, where we bought a wonderful pinnaple for the familiy weekend. Well, our boys enjoyed the churros of course
We got them at a small churros shop close the the Triana bridge (designed by the French Eiffel), where the nice lady prepared them freshly for us.

At least Til has now some teeth that help to to get through the sweet delights.
Take care

Dear friends:
Last Thursday we celebreated intensly Til’s first birthday with a great ‘familiy pure’ program, which we enjoyed all a lot: First thing in the morning a big family brunch, then Til’s first bite of Nadine’s chocolate chake, the opening of the present. As Thursday is already a public holiday here in Spain I had the day off and we made later on a excursion to a bird park close to our house. These times are very nice for birdwatching as there are a lot of storks working on their nests and taking care of their bird eggs. The bird park is closely linked to the Doñana national park, which is one of Europe’s biggest natural resorts, although unfortunately partially endangered by intensive agriculture. Later on we made a picknick close the park, we were we all relaxed and the boys enjoyed playing in the quieteness of the nature. It as a special day also for Nadine and I to remember the day one year ago, when Nadine gave birth to our lovely son here in Seville - a day unforgettable for us!
Til, all the best for the new year, may you have good health and a lot of joyful moment playing with your brother Mauro!

Friends:
Well, last Thursday was a big day for ‘our’ town Sevilla. After having started already 30 years ago with the first ideals and plants of a underground train system and subsequent projects the ‘junte de andalucía’ launched last Thursday the first line. Well, again we realized the good luck we had when we looked for our house, in which we are currently in. It is a ten minutes walk from an underground stations, which suits us perfectly for moving in and out of Sevilla. It was very pleasant to watch how the local people enjoyed their first train rides, which video cams and all necesarry equipment
Well, people are adapting very fast to this new public transportation, as a lot of people are already using it.
Check out to pics of the first Swiss ride in the metro:
…as in every underground train…jammed people….

crossing the river ‘Guadalquivier’
Well, friends, when you now come to visit us, you have perfect travel arrangements for discovering Sevilla
Yours Nadine and Marc
