Dear friends,

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure and honour to participate in a convention with the most important sales agentes of Helvetia Seguros, my employer, in Sevilla. Well, the evening program has been used as a platform to trasmit some Andalucian culture highlights to the agents, who came from all part of Spain -a country, which is impressing in the sense of cultural diversity. So, we went on a small version of the famous ‘Romería’, a pilgrimage trip to the famous church in el ‘Rocío. People go there with horse carriages ,accompanied by local music and of course - good food and drinks

Dear friends

 At the end of January 2009 we took the chance to explore teh Sierra de Gracalama (mountain area) and the city of Ronda. Well, what an astounding place to be! Ronda is situated on a cliff, which gave it a natural protection and superior view to defend it during history againgst all kind of enemis, depending on who was ruling at this time the city

Well, we arrived on late saturday afternoon in Ronda, and went on a first sightseeing tour with the kids visiting the plaza de toros (one of the oldest of Spain), the cliffs and the city center. So, a first nice impression. But the great suprise we experienced on Sunday morning: when we woke up the surrounding valleys were coverend with fog and Ronda, as a city on the cliffs, was above the fog with sun and all this in combination with the magic quietness of a Sunday morning (well, with little kids you do not sleep in the whole sunday morning…). A great experience.
