Dear friends!

The first days of January I had the chance to spend a lot of time with my family members in Bangkok, especially with my cousin Tong. It was a very interesting time for me to discuss local and personal developments of each others lives and to breathe in the unique mix of life in Bangkok, which incorporates all major trends of the 21st century and the strong and old culture of Thailand. Sometimes you might think these might collide, but Thai people are specialists in integrating them into daily life.  I learnt again a lot about this interesting country and am happy that my family in Thailand is currently doing fine.
